Nigerian musician and activist Folarin Falana popularly known as Falz, alongside his father, prominent human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), joined a nationwide protest on June 12, 2026 (Nigeria’s Democracy Day) to challenge worsening insecurity and economic hardship across the country.Organized by a broad coalition of civil society organizations (CSOs), labour unions, the demonstrations aim to stop the rising wave of persistent killings and kidnappings across the country.
